Sustainability — Naga Indonesia Plywood
Sustainability · Responsible Production

Responsible Sourcing
Is How We Operate.

Not a marketing commitment — a production requirement embedded into our supply chain from raw veneer to final shipment.

Our Sustainability Position

Sustainability Isn't a Label.
It's How We Source.

For buyers in Europe, the United States, and other ESG-regulated markets, timber sourcing traceability isn't optional — it's a procurement requirement. As the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the US Lacey Act raise the compliance bar, your supply chain documentation matters as much as product quality.

At Naga Indonesia Plywood, responsible sourcing is embedded in how we operate — not bolted on as a marketing layer. Our SVLK certification covers the full legality chain from forest source to export shipment. That means your audit team doesn't have to do additional due diligence on our supply chain.

Our Sustainability Framework

Three Pillars of Responsible Production

🌲

Timber Legality & Traceability

Every cubic metre of timber entering our facility is traceable to a legal, documented source. Our SVLK certification (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu — Indonesia's national timber legality system) covers the full chain from harvest to export shipment. This is not self-certified — it is audited by an independent third-party body.

♻️

Waste Reduction in Production

Veneer off-cuts and production waste are systematically recycled — used as biomass fuel for our own drying kilns, eliminating external energy dependency for that process. Our waste-to-energy model reduces both disposal cost and fossil fuel usage in the plant. We track waste ratios per product line and improve continuously.

👥

Community & Workforce Responsibility

Operating in Central Java since 1998, our workforce is drawn from local communities — many with generational employment within the same facility. Responsible employment, safety-standard compliance, and community development are audited through our sustainability framework and visible in our annual reporting.

Specific Commitments

What "Responsible Production"
Looks Like in Practice

Concrete practices — not aspirational statements.

01

100% Legal Timber Documentation

Every incoming timber batch is verified against SVLK documentation before it enters our production floor. Non-compliant material is rejected at intake — regardless of price or delivery urgency.

02

In-House Formaldehyde Emission Testing

We test every production batch for formaldehyde emissions against E0 and E1 limits. Products failing these limits do not leave our facility — protecting your end customers and your brand.

03

Veneer Recovery Rate Optimisation

Our satellite veneer plants are managed to maximise material recovery from each log. Higher recovery rates mean less forest impact per m³ of finished product — a metric we track and improve annually.

04

Export Compliance for Regulated Markets

Phytosanitary certificates, SVLK export documents, and heat-treatment records are prepared for every shipment to EU, US, and other regulated destinations — keeping your import clearance straightforward.

Certifications & Standards

Our documentation is maintained current and available to buyers for their own compliance needs.

Keberlanjutan Perusahaan
